So I realized my last journal was really old and I feel like I should update it again. Not sure how many people, if any, still read the things I post, but I want to do it anyway XD

As I'm sure you've noticed I haven't updated any art pieces in a really long time. I don't really draw anymore and anything I write I tend to keep to myself. I've been thinking about uploading it to FictionPress.com instead of here. I can post a link to my profile if people are interested in reading some of my pieces. I'll be posting a story I've started writing on there so some people can read it. If you're interested, it'll be up there at some point. Hopefully my writing is good enough for some of you to like it XD

Even though I'm not doing anything with my dA account right now, it will be turned into more of a photo account. Don't worry, I won't be taking pictures of random things and posting them up there. My roommates and I love to do photo shoots and I figured I might post some of the things we do on here. We're currently working on a vintage shoot in the woods at our college. We did a little bit in the spring of this year, but the sun quickly hid on us so we're going to do it again this fall. Now we know to start the shoot earlier in the day so we don't lose light, lol. We're also starting to cosplay. Yup, that's right. Cosplay. I've always loved looking at other photos of people who have done it and I want to give it a try. We'll mainly be doing Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra, but who knows. It'll be an adventure for us.

With that, I created a Tumblr account so you can watch our progress on there. I won't always be creating journals here to update our progress on our costumes and photo shoots, so I figured a Tumblr would be a WHOLE lot easier. It'll mainly be filled with us working on our costumes, behind the scenes images of our photo shoots, as well as some of our favorite images from those photo shoots. My roommates, three other lovely ladies, and myself will each have our own pages set up on there so you can get to know each one of us a little better as well as ask us any questions you have. It's all in the beginning stages of creation, but hopefully in the next few weeks it'll really get going when we're all moved in to our apartment!

The only other big thing I guess I can share is that there is SOME wedding planning going on! Sadly the actual wedding won't happen until after graduation since both are very expensive, but that won't stop us from planning and doing a lot of DIY things for it. We want to save as much money as possible and if we can do a lot of the decorations ourselves, it'll help a lot. My roommates and I will be doing most of it since Tyler isn't exactly crafty xD

Introducing Pine Ridge Herding!

PRH is a herding sim with a twist of farming. To train your herding dogs you need your own cattle. You can can train and raise your own cattle (ducks, sheep, pigs and cows) to be easier to herd for your dogs. There will be monthly team events where your herding sports team can compete as a whole to find out who has the best team. County fairs where you can register your farm animals.

Three year anniversary today! I'm really excited...mainly because that means I've been with an amazing guy for three years now. I really don't have much to say about what's going on today because I really don't know. I guess we're going out to dinner, but I don't know where xD He's picking. I'm just happy that today is here. I always enjoy celebrating our anniversary. It's a nice day to look back on all the good that's happened in my life since I met him. Now to plan for the wedding

It's almost my birthday! (The 8th) xD It's not a special number like it was last year, but 19 is still cool. One of my favorite numbers. And the best part? I don't have any classes on my birthday! College won't ruin my birthday this year! Anyway, just thought I would say that since I really had nothing else to say...Thanks for reading if you did xD

OH! Any Vampire Diaries fans out there?! My roommate has got me hooked on it! Still on the first season so don't give out any spoilers! I love that show. It's so good, but I still laugh at all of the Twilight parallels that are in that show. Lemme know what you think about it!!

Sadly, I think I have to do this again. Right now it looks like my plushie commission that started over a year ago has fallen through. I don't want to give up on it, but my dream of having Amara and Aelic in plushie form is still unfinished. I need your help again guys! Do you know of any good plushie artists on here that have fairly reasonable prices? I know a lot of people are outrageous on here and I'm not going to pay over $100 per plushie. I just can't do that xD

So if you guys know of ANYONE that has plushie sales right now, that would be fantastic!

Since my recent poll got less than desirable responses (I know I'm not as active on here as I used to be, but 2 responses?! Really guys?), I was thinking about maybe creating a new species/custom species to bring more interest to my account. I have a few ideas in mind, but what I'd really like to do is team up with someone and create something as a team. Obviously there would be credit given and if I do sell these, profits (if there are any) will be split.

I want to get more involved with dA in various ways. This would be one of them.

I do have sketches that will probably be finished tomorrow. Since my schedule this semester works well with me drawing, you'll see more things from me. Plus, I think I've found a style that works well for me. I've only tested it on two images, one for ~catz1313 and one for *Toucat, but I like it. We'll see where it goes though.

I'm not the greatest with the human anatomy right now (I'm working on it) and I'm looking for someone to help me create anthro versions of some of my characters. I know what I want, I just don't know how to create it myself. So...I'm calling out to the anthro artists out there. I can pay obviously, but I don't have a lot to spend right now. Maybe a bulk order??? I'm not looking for full ref sheets. I can do that part. I'm basically looking for a basic image of my character, in anthro form, that I can use on a ref sheet until I get better with humans myself. All credit would go to you obviously if you are willing to help.

This will be a bit of a project because I do have SEVERAL characters that I would like done in anthro form. There is no time frame however so if you are busy it's okay. There's no rush. This is just for me so I can expand my characters and really do more with them.

If you are interested, please let me know! I'm looking for someone that can do digital pieces mainly because it'll be easier for me to work with them when it comes to the ref sheets. Most of my characters that I'm looking for have simple designs. There may be one or two that have more detail to them so please consider that as well.

Please comment below if you are interested and what your price would be. Ideally I'm looking for anthros of around 12 characters. If you can give me a price range for that, it would be great. Again, I'm really looking for someone that would consider doing a bulk order for me. I know what I want will be expensive :/

Hey guys! Or hello to those few of you that are still watching me! It has been forever since I've posted a journal on here and even longer since I've drawn something. I really want to get back into again because I found so much peace in it. I have a month off from school now and this is really when I'll be able to draw. I want to draw more of my characters and build up their personalities more than where they're at right now. But I also want to draw more for other people. I love doing gift art and I think that if I just sit down and work through art for people that I'll be able to improve. That's my main goal anyway! So, with that being said, if you're still watching me and have read through this...POST YOUR CHARACTERS!! I want to do gift art and trades so PLEASE post and we can discuss either a gift piece or trade!!

Also, if anyone wants to help me improve my art, I am looking for basically a tutor. I need someone to help me redline my pieces to help me with my anatomy and I desperately want someone to help me work on my shading. Basically if anyone wants to do this and has the time and patience to help me, I'll smother you with gift art and would be eternally grateful!

Now that I have the new journal layout and some awesome art to decorate it, I think it's time to get a new icon too. Anyone out there that is willing to do a new icon for me or know of someone that is open for icons....you know the story xD It would be of Amara again, obviously.

And, as for the makeover part....I got my hair cut and dyed. It is really short compared to where it normally is! It's really cute and I love it curled! Here it is:

I needed something different on my layout. The other one I had for so long and it was time for a change. Of course I couldn't stray real far from my love of brown/blue layouts! I just love this one! The accent flowers gives it a classy look, but of course I needed to add Amara and Aelic to it. I'm going to add more art to it when I can. Right now I actually need to look for people to make more badges that will work with the layout.

That's when all of you come in!! Are you open for making badges or know someone that is? I don't have a ton of money to spend being a college student so maybe if you're open for trades we can do something? I will probably only seek one or two actual commissions and that will be my absolute limit. Hopefully I can get a few trades for them as well. Basically I'd like to fill my header and footer with different images of Amara and Aelic and possibly bring their new cub Amos into some of them as well!
